Winter pies remain incomplete without coconut. Various types of pithas are organized in winter. Coconut is needed to make these fun cakes.
Most of the coconuts in our country are produced in Khulna. Khulna is said to be famous for coconuts. Coconuts are also found in other parts of the country. This is how traders arrange coconuts during winter.
A variety of cakes are made from coconut. One of these is Puli Pitha. Puli pitha is made entirely of coconut. However, various types of pitha including Kusali Pitha, Ras Pitha, Pati Sapta Pitha are made with this coconut. These pithas are our village-Bangla tradition in winter days.
