The Dhaka Times Desk National Film Award-winning filmmaker Redwan Rony's 'Ice Cream' has received uncut censor clearance. The film will feature three new faces Nazifa Tushi, Raj and Uday.
Producer Redwan Rony said, 'I am extremely happy that the film has received uncut censor clearance. I was waiting for this day. The teaser of the film will be released soon. The release date of the film will be announced by holding a press conference.
About the film, Redwan Rony also said, 'Ice Cream' is mainly made with the story of the romantic genre of the youth of this time. Along with this, Bengali history-tradition will also emerge in this film.'
Three new faces are making their film debuts in the lead role of the cleared film 'Ice Cream'. They are Nazifa Tushi, Raj and Uday. Among them, Tushi is the first runner-up of 'Lux-Chanel Eye Superstar 2014'. Important roles of 'Ice Cream' are also - ATM Shamsuzzaman, Diti, Omar Sani etc. This movie is shot by – Arindam of Kolkata. The film is produced by Pingpong Entertainment, Popcorn Films and Top of Mind.
It is to be noted that Roni's first film 'Chorabali' released in 2012 won the National Award in 5 categories including Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Dialogue.
