A heretic set his two-year-old daughter on fire. The expectant mother kept him in a hot oven for some time. Due to this, the whole body of the child was severely burnt. Indian news media NDTV reported this incident last week citing the authorities.

In this regard, an authority from the Summerville District Headquarters said, recently, a mother named Tasha Shawntel Hatcher, 35 years old, tried to kill her two-year-old daughter at her home. Later he was rescued and admitted to the hospital. After treatment, the child will be handed over to the Texas Child Protection Center.

A witness told police Shawntell had previously told them her daughter was left inside the oven, a neighbor told police. But why he did this is not known till now. Hatcher has been charged with aggravated battery to a child, police sources said.
