The Dhaka Times Desk Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always said that Bangladeshi Muslims will be expelled from their country. Sometimes those Muslims interrupt the speech for the call to prayer.

While the speech was going on, suddenly the call to prayer was heard. And the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi took a break from his speech for that call to prayer. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stopped his speech for a while when the call to prayer started in a nearby mosque while addressing an election rally in West Bengal on the occasion of the assembly elections. Modi is believed to have done such an act to attract Muslim votes for his party in the elections. Narendra Modi has started the election campaign against the ruling Trinamool Congress and the CPI(M)-Congress alliance in West Bengal.

Modi immediately stopped his speech when the call to prayer rang out from the mosque. After the call to prayer, Modi resumed his speech. Modi said, 'This is our parampara (tradition). We must respect all religions and their customs and practices.' Narendra Modi said, 'We must respect so that the unity of India is always maintained.'
After the Azaan, Narendra Modi spoke for another 20 minutes. There was a huge crowd in that public meeting. Devotees in Kharagpur city hailed Narendra Modi for showing 'respect' to all religions and said it was an example.
