About 10,000 people lived in this region at one time. Most of them are Russian and German tribes. But the surprising thing is that everyone in that area suddenly fell asleep. Another surprising thing is that when they wake up they can't remember anything. Then they get severe headache. There are also villagers who have faced this problem many times. He even slept for 6 consecutive days.
This happens almost to everyone from village elders, youth to children. Because of which children eventually stop going to school. Many children also experience hallucinations.
A few children in the area said they saw winged horses, snakes in bed and some even saw insects eating their hands!
Not only the people but also the animals of that village are suffering from sleeping sickness. Yelena Zhavoronkova of the Kalachi village told the media that her pet cat suddenly started behaving abnormally. He attacked the wall and the house dog which never happened before. In the morning the cat suddenly fell asleep and slept like a human until the next afternoon.
The doctors examined the bodies of the victims. Doctors think that there is definitely an explanation for the matter. At first they thought it was a side effect after drinking vodka. But if the matter increases, they think it is a brain disease.
There is a uranium factory in this area. The factory was closed after the fall of the Soviet Union. At one time more than 6,000 people lived in the Krasnogorsk region, but now there are less than 1,000 people.
According to media reports, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Health has tested over 7,000 people. However, high levels of radiation or other substances were not found. Some homes do contain radium, but it is not serious.
Sleep disorder experts have also failed to find the cause. But now this mystery has been revealed and the Deputy PM of Kazakhstan Bardybek Saparbev has confirmed that it is happening because of uranium.
