According to the special weather bulletin about this cyclone, the cyclone 'Roanu' formed in the Bay of Bengal has strengthened and moved further towards the coast of Bangladesh. Earlier today (Saturday) afternoon) it is crossing the Chittagong and Barisal coasts of Bangladesh.
The effects of cyclones are widespread in coastal areas. Public life has been disrupted. Many houses were destroyed. All in all, a disastrous situation prevails in the coastal region.
