The picture you are looking at is a picture of Baga Lake. This scene is very nice. This is a heart-wrenching scene.
Rupasi Baga Lake just before Keokaradong. Baga in Bam language means dragon. According to Bomad's fairy tale, a dragon used to live in this mountain long ago. That dragon would catch and eat small children. When the villagers killed the dragon, the mountain erupted with fire and a loud noise from its mouth.
Sounds like a fairy tale, it's actually a volcanic eruption. This mystery is officially written on the signboard of the Upazila Parishad. Still no one can tell the depth of this lake. But 150+ was found on echo meter.
Every year the water color of Baga lake mysteriously changes several times. Although there is no spring, when the water in the lake changes, so does the water in the surrounding lakes. This mystery of Baga Lake has not been solved till date. The mystery remains.
