His age is approximately 28/29 years. The young man was seen hanging a sports bag on the back of a bicycle in Suhrawardy Udyan and heading towards the field adjacent to Shaheed Lake in the capital. Many look at the sports bag with the sports bag of a bearded young man wearing a pajama-Punjabi hat. Many do not even stop joking. He jokingly asked, 'What, sir, there are no bombs inside the bag!'
He did not get upset on hearing such words but smiled and replied, 'Come to the field, see, there is a bomb, but everyone likes that bomb.
Again, many people who came on the morning tour were curious and went forward to the field to see that not only that young man, but many people dressed like him appeared there. Once the young man opened the back bag of the bicycle and took out cricket bats and balls and other items.
Then the game started by dividing into two teams. Like little boys and girls, they hug each other when they hit fours and sixes and get bowled and caught out and start celebrating again. When the game of a certain over is over, he left the park again with the cricket material in his bag. And their identity is a little different than ten cricket lovers. Maulana Mohammad Monir Hossain is one of them. He is 28 years old. Monir Hossain, a resident of Nawabpur village in Chandina, Comilla district, has passed Meshkate Samman (Honours) and Dayra (Masters) from Jamia Arabia Emdadul Uloom Faridabad Madrasa, Jatrabari in the capital. He currently leads a mosque in an apartment of tax zone 7 officers in Segunbagicha. He also taught Arabic to young children in the area. Wife and two daughters live in the village. He lives in a mess in Kakrail area.
While talking to the media, Monir Hossain said that he liked to play sports since his childhood. But due to the pressure of studying in the Arabic line, playing sports did not become that way. After completing his studies and entering his career, he is playing cricket almost every day. Like him some other Maulanas and Hafez also came to play in Suhrawardy Udyan. He returned home after leading Fajr prayers in the morning. Then he rushed to the field to play.
He said that many people think that sports cannot be played or will not be played in Maulana Hall. This is their misconception. Maulana Monir Hossain thinks that everyone should play sports regularly to stay healthy.
