The Dhaka Times Desk Actually it is called social media but in reality people are being made more anti-social. Because this medium is intoxicating the youth.

The media reported such a news. That said, sleep through all the notifications before going to sleep at night. Again wake up in the morning and login to Facebook - this happens in many cases. Many people start their day by looking at the notifications accumulated overnight.
Such is the situation of excessive dependence on social media. Is it actually harming us? Or benefiting? BigThink.com has published a report on this topic.

Market research firm Digital Clarity recently conducted a survey on this topic. In this survey conducted on 1300 people, the issue of people's addiction to internet and social media has come to the fore.
Survey results show that 18 to 25-year-olds spend an average of 15 hours a day online. Due to which various mental changes are happening in them. These include wasting extra time, lack of punctuality, separation from family and feeling restless when offline.

Melissa Scott, a British student who took part in the survey, believes that she is addicted to the Internet. He says, 'I'm online all the time I'm awake. When I go offline, depression works in me and I feel sick.'
In the same way, people who are addicted to video games, also become isolated from the rest of the family. Especially teenagers and young adults are getting addicted to video games.
So a picture emerged from that research. Due to such addiction to various social media, youths are getting separated from family communication. And so day by day they are becoming unequal.
