According to media reports, this incident is happening in Purbi Kharia village of Ramankabad in Hubli Kharagpur division of Bihar, India. The main problem in that village is that the teeth of the youths there fall out.
There are adult boys and girls in that village but they are not getting married. Why are they not getting married? Because the boys and girls of this village are falling out of their teeth prematurely without being allowed to enter adolescence after childhood. Who will marry such a hot pot or bride?
At present the situation is so deplorable that no one from Vingram wants to be a village face. Due to which the villagers have practically become isolated. It is known that around 500 people have already been affected. Among them are people of all ages.
Doctors said that the village is showing symptoms of tooth loss or aging at a young age after drinking fluoridated water. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched a water project in this village in 2010. But it was of no use.
After spending 32 crore rupees, the government took up the work of fluoride free water project. But the work left incomplete 2 company people! Due to which the prevalence of the disease continues to increase. Presently the government has installed 5 water ATMs in Munger district for fluoride free water. Out of these 2 have been installed in this village. Villagers get 20 liters of water for Rs 4. But one ATM has already gone bad.
Although the water problem has been solved for the time being, those affected by the disease could not contain their anger. The reason is that the rest of their lives are going to be wasted due to the disease.
