The Dhaka Times Desk Bangabandhu's granddaughter Tulip Siddique has become the shadow minister of the education ministry of Britain's Theresa May government. Tulip is the country's MP for Hampstead and Kilburn.
Tulip Siddiq has joined Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn's shadow education ministry. On Sunday, Shadow Minister Angela Rainer announced Tulip Siddique as Shadow Education Minister.
Tulip took to her own Twitter to express her excitement after tweeting the names of the other 3 members, including Angela Rainer and Tulip Siddique.
Tulip writes that she will work to hold Theresa May's government's education policies to account.
Apart from Tulip, 3 more MPs have been added to the shadow education ministry. Other members of Angela Gordon's shadow cabinet are Gordon Marsden MP, Emma Loelbach MP and Mike Caine MP.
