The Dhaka Times Desk Actor Nirav returned to the country last week after shooting for 26 consecutive days of Bollywood film 'Bala'. Apart from Indian actress Kavita Radheshyam, this film also features Pakistani actress Meera.
Based on a true story, Nirav will be seen in the role of a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer in the film 'Bala'. His wife is played by Indian actress Kavita Radheshyam. On the other hand, Pakistani actress Meera Khan will be seen as a psychologist in this film. Nirav, the popular hero of Bangladesh, acted in 'Bala' opposite both Kavita and Meera.
Nirav said in this context, "I struggled with the film. Considering the current context, there is a trend of boycotting Pakistani stars in Indian films. The director of the film, Faisal Saif, faced difficulties in the shooting of the film 'Bala' with the Pakistani Meera Khan in the beginning, but completed the work of the film.
In response to the question whether the film will have any effect on the censors or the release of the Pakistani actress, the actor of the film Nirav said, "There was no problem while working on the film. Hopefully there will be no problem in the release. Honestly, now just waiting for release."
If everything goes well, the Faith Pictures-produced 'Bala' is likely to release next year.
