Citing the blockade as one of the reasons for improving Iran's defense industry, Ishaq Jahangirir said Iran should retain its missile capabilities to stop daydreaming of enemy attacks on his country.
"Only with good defense capabilities will Iran be able to play a constructive and effective role in the Middle East," he said.
Thanking the activities and achievements of the Ministry of Defense, he said that Iran is now considered as the country with the highest level of security and stability in the Middle East.
