The selfie craze is on the rise around the world. The trend of taking selfies in dangerous positions is increasing day by day among selfie lovers. Along with this, the death march is also increasing. This time, a group of researchers from the United States has come forward with such a solution. So they created an app that warns when taking dangerous selfies.
This research team is developing an app that will give warning signals when taking dangerous selfies.

A total of 73 people died in such incidents in the first 8 months of 2016.
Where and how these accidents happen depends a lot on where you live. University of Pittsburgh PhD student Hemank Lamba and a team of friends are developing this app.
It has been observed that India has the highest number of such incidents at 76. Pakistan followed with 9, followed by the United States with 8 and Russia with 6.
In most of the cases, it is seen that while taking a selfie on the very edge of a high place, death occurs by falling from it. Most of the time, the purpose of taking these pictures is to attract the attention of friends and followers on social media.
Hemank Lamba and his team hope to be able to create an app that contains maps and images of dangerous places around the world. The app will automatically alert you when taking selfies at these places.
This research team has already conducted an experiment by taking 3,000 selfies through an algorithm. Where it has been seen that the success rate is 70 percent.
