Koel Mallick is going to be Shakib Khan's heroine on the silver screen after Talisundaris like Subhasree, Paoli Dam and Srabanti. Rumors have been heard for quite some time. But this time its truth has been found.
It is known that initially the name of this film has been given as 'Bidrohi'. Tollygunge's Koel Mallick is going to team up with Dhallywood's Shakib Khan in a joint production movie. This news was confirmed by the screenwriter and project coordinator of this movie, Abdullah Zaheer Babu.
Abdullah Zaheer Babu told the media, “Shakib Khan of Bangladesh and Koel Mallick of Kolkata are going to pair up on the screen. There has already been a discussion with them about acting in the movie. Both of them gave verbal consent for the movie on their respective sides. The pre-production work of this movie is currently going on. If everything goes well, everything will be finalized very soon."
The Shakib-Koyal duo's film is registered as 'Bidrohi' in the Bangladesh Film Directors Association. However, Babu also hinted that the name of the film may be changed later.
It is to be noted that the joint production film will be directed by Kolkata producer Rajiv Biswas and Bangladeshi producer Abdul Aziz.
