The Dhaka Times Desk A group of students of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has invented a robot that is capable of successful expedition to Mars!

Ruet students claim that this robot is capable of successfully operating on Mars. A group of students led by Mukidur Rahman, a student of Mechatronics Engineering Department of RUET and Sayem Miskat, a student of Mechanical Engineering Department, developed this robot named 'Agdoot' after long research.
The invented robot is capable of measuring the temperature of Mars, the presence or flow of water or the presence of toxic gases.
Inventor team leader Mukidur Rahman told the media that this robot will be able to operate on Mars in any adverse conditions. Some sensors have been used in this invention, so that it can automatically search for information about the nature of the weather there, the presence of any toxic gas, the structure of the terrain, etc.
Sayem Miskat, another leader of the innovation team, said that every year the American University of Rover Challengers (URC) organizes a competition for any new and creative invention capable of carrying out missions to Mars. Their invented robot 'Aragdoot' has already been registered to participate in this competition. Not only that, it has also received invitations to showcases.
He said that if they get the necessary sponsors, Ruet students will be able to participate in this competition and showcase their invented robot 'Aragdoot'.
Professor of Mechatronics Engineering Department and advisor to the robot discovery team. Sajal Kumar Das said, a prototype of this has been developed. It needs more money to make its original version. With financial support we will be able to make the original version of it.
The exhibition of this newly invented robot named 'Aragdoot' was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ruet. Moha Rafiqul Alam Beg. A large number of visitors, including students, gathered at the central Shaheed Minar square to see the exhibition of this robot.
Ruet Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Moha Rafiqul Alam Baig said, 'RUET students have once again proved their creativity and capability by inventing a robot capable of exploring Mars.'
