The design of the residence on Mars was unveiled!

The Dhaka Times Desk There is no end to the research of scientists on Mars. They are constantly working on how to live on Mars. As a continuation of that, this time the design of Mangal was unveiled.

Researchers at NASA's Langley Research Center have teamed up with a group of architects to come up with an idea for a home called a 'Mars ice house'. NASA recently unveiled a design of what a human home could look like after sending humans to Mars.

NASA Senior Systems Engineer Kevin Vipavetz said, 'After thinking about the needs, goals and limitations, we thought of many crazy ideas and finally came to the design decision of this ice house. NASA's ice house also has several advantages, they said. It is light and can be easily transported from one place to another by a simple robot. Then it can be prepared by pouring water before the occupants arrive.'

To stay in this sheltered home it must be protected from cosmic rays and radiation. Underground chambers would have been most effective for this task. But that requires very heavy equipment, which is almost impossible to carry to Mars. So there was a need for an alternative construction material, which would be effective for such resistance. Researchers think ice is more suitable in this case.

"When you land on Mars after a few months in space, your new home will be ready for you," NASA chief explorer Kevin Kempton said in a statement. Then the day will turn out to be very good for you.'
