The Dhaka Times Desk Those who belong to Hinduism worship it. That is a normal rule. But if you ever hear a Hindu worshiping in a Muslim house, how would it feel? That's exactly what happened.
Such a news in the media is now on everyone's lips. Everyone was very confused. Because the worship of Hindu gods in Muslim homes! How is that possible? Because idol worship in Muslim religion is Shirk, which is called Kabira Gonah or strong sin. But why act like a Muslim?
Old wooden rickety door. Tomb on one side. On the other hand, the daily service of Jagannath, Narugopal is going on. In the evening, prayers are offered there, and similarly, Shah Alam Khadim, the son of the house, carefully lights the lamp at Tulsitala. Khadim House of Mollapara, Kandra, Ketugram, India is an example of such coexistence. The owner of the house said, 'Hindus, not Muslims, this is a place of worship for people.'
People of the area find peace in this house despite the politics of division. The youngest son of the house, Shah Alam Khadim, 40 years old, worships Jagannath, Chaitanya every day. Many people from Burdwan, Birbhum, Murshidabad come to worship this house due to his devotion. Residents of the area said that even though Titu (Shah Alam's nickname) did not pass the school mark, he was fond of Pujopath since childhood. He learned mantra lessons from father Jaher Khadim. Jaher Khadim is also buried next to the Jagannath temple.
Shah Alam also drowned in that memory while offering the rice and bananas given by the devotees. Eleven men ago, one of their family picked up the metal idol of Jagannath on the way to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. He came home with it. But others throw the idol in the sink in the name of 'religion'. Shah Alam claimed that after that, bad luck descended on the family. A person of the house gets a dream that peace will return if the statue is lifted from the sink. If you go down to look for an idol in the water, you will not find that metal idol, but the Daruvigraha of Jagannath. That is why Jagannath is called 'Buroraj' here.
Pramila Acharya and Mizanul Kabir of that area said, 'Offering puja at Khadimbari on any occasion is a custom of this Tallat.' A big festival is also held here a week before Mahalaya every year. Shah Alam's wife Tumpa Khadim said, 'We are fasting. I also give water and air to Tagore in the absence of my husband.'
