The Dhaka Times Desk 3 films have been released this Eid. Among them 2 joint production movies 'Nawab' and 'Boss 2'. On the other hand, the domestically produced 'Rajneeti' film. However, 'Rajneeti' is going along with the joint production.
More than 2500 theaters are prepared for the 3 Eid films across the country. All major theaters in Dhaka including Cineplex were taken over by 'Nawab' and 'Boss 2'. On the other hand, the film 'Rajneeti' got the only big blockbuster in Dhaka, Yamuna.
It is known that 128 of the two co-production films 'Nawab' and 111 for 'Boss 2' have been finalized. After the release of the dialogue and action packed trailer of 'Nawab', Shakib Khan has become the talk of fans, detractors and critics alike. Subhasree Ganguly of Tollyganj acted with Shakib in the movie.
The high-voltage thriller 'Nawab' is produced by Kolkata-based filmmaker Jaydev Mukherjee. An India-Bangladesh co-production, the film is produced by Kolkata's SK Movies and Bangladesh's Jazz Multimedia.
Apart from Shakib-Shubashree, Amit Hasan, Kharaj Mukherjee, Rajtav Dutta, Meghla, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and others acted in the movie 'Nawab'.
On the other hand, the domestically produced movie 'Rajneeti' has been released in 40 theaters including Dhaka's Jamuna Blockbuster. The domestic film 'Rajneeti' is running almost at the same rate.
Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas' movie 'Rajneeti' is one of the most successful film duo in Dhaka. Anisur Rahman Milan, Shahidul Alam Sacchu, Sadek Bachchu, Amit Hasan, Piyush Banerjee, Aliraj, Jayashree Kar Jaya and others acted in the film.
