This may seem unbelievable to you. Because living for 256 years is truly incredible. So how did that man live for 256 years? There are several reasons for that.
According to media reports, an article was published in the New York Times in 1930. It is said that Professor Wu Chur-chei of Chengdu University was researching the history of China's monarchical government. Records show that the professor wished Li Ching Yuen on his 150th birthday in 1827. He later wished Lee on his 200th birthday in 1877.
In 1928, a journalist working for the New York Times wrote that several elderly people were Lee's neighbors. They themselves said that their grandfathers knew Lee very well. At that time, Lee was a mature man.
Surprisingly, Li Ching started practicing herbal science at the age of 10. He used to go to those high inaccessible mountains to find herbal plants. There are also many stories about Lee's birthplace. Many say that Lee learned to read and write very quickly from that early age. Before his tenth birthday, Li traveled to places such as Kansu, Shaanxi, Tibet, Annam, Siam and Manchuria. These areas have been cultivated for the collection of herbal plants. For the first hundred years of his life, Lee was busy with herbal research.
