Find out what animal sacrifices are permissible

The Dhaka Times Desk This Eid of Sacrifice is one of the two Eids of the Muslim community. According to religious tradition, we sacrifice animals on this Eid. But many of us may not know what kind of animal should be sacrificed. Find out today.

Apart from today, there are only two days left for Eid. Within the next two days you have to buy a sacrificial cow or any other animal. According to Islamic law, animals that are very strong and strong and not diseased should be sacrificed. Find out what else is involved in sacrificial animals today.

How to choose the sacrificial animal

# Cows, goats, camels and goats are some of the domesticated animals that are allowed to be sacrificed. Apart from these animals, no matter how valuable, sacrifice with them is not permissible.
# Goats, sheep and goats must be at least one year old.
# If he is a little younger but is so fat that he does not look younger than one-year-olds, then his sacrifice is permissible.
# Goats must not be less than one year old under any circumstances.
# Cows and buffaloes should be at least 2 years old.
# Camel should be at least 5 years old.
# The sacrificial animal is good and well-fed.
# An animal that is limping i.e. walking on three legs - cannot put one foot on the ground or cannot be sacrificed.
# The sacrifice shall not be made by an animal that has no teeth.
# It is not permissible to sacrifice an animal whose ears have not yet been born.
# Sacrifice by an animal whose horn breaks off from the root is not valid. However, the sacrifice is permissible from an animal whose horns are not raised or partially broken.
# It is not permissible to sacrifice an animal that is blind in both eyes or one-third or more of its vision is lost.
# An animal whose ear or tail has been cut off by a third or more is not eligible for sacrifice.
# Sacrifice by animals that are too lean and weak is not valid.
# After purchasing a good animal, there is a fault that makes the sacrifice not valid - then the sacrifice itself will be invalid.
# Sacrifice of pregnant animals is permissible. If the baby in the womb is found alive then that baby should also be slaughtered. However, it is makruh to sacrifice such an animal when it is close to giving birth.
# Sacrifice of barren animals is permissible.
