Not only that organization, but several other organizations and universities in Britain have suspended their awards and honorary degrees given to Suu Kyi. Again many are reviewing.
In recent times, a humanitarian crisis has been created due to the torture and oppression of the Myanmar army. In such a situation, Suu Kyi is playing a kind of silent role. This leader addressed the nation on television last Tuesday about the Rohingya crisis.
In a televised speech at 9:04 a.m. local time, Suu Kyi said to the nation, Myanmar is not afraid of international pressure. He said, Myanmar army is always committed to peacekeeping. The military operation will continue until there is peace. We want peace and unity, not war. In her address to the nation, this leader did not mention any solution to the Rohingya crisis, but instead spoke in favor of the army. Because of which Suu Kyi has once again been criticized internationally.
