Also, the EU has imposed a ban on the sale of any kind of weapons or military equipment to the Myanmar army due to the operation to ethnically kill the Rohingya.
Yesterday (Monday) in a statement of the European Union informed these information. The European Union and its members will cancel the invitation to Myanmar's army chief and other senior military officials due to the unrestrained use of security forces in the Rohingya extermination campaign, the statement said. The alliance of European countries will also review all defense cooperation.
The European Union says it is considering other measures if the Rohingya situation in Rakhine does not improve.
On the other hand, last Friday, the spokesperson of the United Nations Human Rights Organization said that the Rohingya refugees want peacekeeping forces for their security.
It should be noted that 536,000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh since August 25 due to violence by the Myanmar army in Rakhine state. Bangladesh government is giving them humanitarian aid. They have been provided temporary accommodation.
