The picture you are looking at is the picture of 'Don'. In the village parlance it is called 'don' which means a vehicle for irrigating the land.
Earlier mechanized irrigation system was not such a thing. Then the land was irrigated in this way. When the boy dipped his foot in the water and raised it again, a lot of water would come up in this 'don'. Then it was given on land next to the pond. This is how irrigation was once done.
