Jerusalem is declared the capital of Israel: warning of attack on US troops in Iraq

The Dhaka Times Desk Iraq has warned of an attack on US troops over the declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Since the declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the whole world has been in a frenzy. Jerusalem is a historic place in the history of Islam. Almost all countries of the world including the entire Muslim world have protested the declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This time, to protest this, the threat of attack on the US troops in Iraq has been announced.

A Shia religious leader in Iraq has warned of an attack on US troops stationed in Iraq because US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Akram al-Kaabi, the leader of Iraq's pro-Shiite Hizbul al-Nujaba, said in an interview with Reuters that such a foolish decision by Donald Trump has angered Muslims to the extreme. And so US troops stationed in Iraq can be attacked at any time.

Currently, 5,200 US troops are stationed in Iraq for the anti-IS operation. They have been conducting airstrikes on IS positions as well as providing military support to Iraqi forces.

It should be noted that the Iraqi Shia leader Akram Al Kabir's organization called Popular Mobilization has 10,000 armed members.
