Asifur Rahman Khan, Head of Walton Cellular Phone Division (Marketing) unveiled the first smartphone model, 'Primo E8i'. Through this, the name of Bangladesh was added as a mobile phone producer.
Asifur Rahman Khan said that the buyers will get special replacement facilities for the first smartphone made in Bangladesh. If any kind of defect occurs within 30 days of purchasing this smartphone, the phone will be replaced immediately and a new phone will be given to the buyer. Moreover, after sales service will be provided to the customer within 48 hours on priority basis within 101 days. The price of Walton's 'Primo E8i' smartphone is Rs 3,500 only.
The screen of this smartphone is 4.5 inches. 1.2 GHz quad core processor is used in this phone. It has 512 MB of RAM. Mali-400 is used as graphics. The internal memory of the phone is 8 GB. Which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card.
It is known that the new Primo 'E8i' smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back. There is a 2 megapixel camera on the front. It can record HD quality videos.
The 'Primo E8i' smartphone has a 1700 mAh Li-ion battery for power backup. This attractively designed smartphone has been released in the market in black, gold and coffee colors.
Android Marshmallow is used as the operating system of this new smartphone. This new dual SIM smartphone is supported by 3G.
The connectivity of this new smartphone is WiFi, Bluetooth version 4, Micro USB version 2, LAN hotspot and OTA. It has A-GPS as the positioning sensor. The smartphone uses the accelerometer as a motion sensor. Multimedia includes HD video playback, recording and FM radio.
