A large rally was organized after Friday prayers in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia, to protest against the declaration of Baitul Muqaddas or Jerusalem as the capital of Zionist Israel. Prime Minister Najib Razak led the rally. The Prime Minister said this in the rally.
Prime Minister Najib Razak firmly stated that we stand firm in our position. We declare our full support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state. We want Baitul Muqaddas to be the capital of an independent Palestinian state.
Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad was also present at the demonstration. Everyone present at the event strongly condemned the recognition of Baitul Muqaddas as the capital of Israel.

Note that on December 6, US President Trump declared Baitul Muqaddas as the capital of Israel. This is the first time a country has recognized the third holiest site of Muslims, Baitul Muqaddas, as the capital of occupying Israel. The United Nations General Assembly has already passed a resolution opposing the US President's decision.
