US President Donald Trump wanted a painting by the famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh to decorate the White House. However, the authorities of Guggenheim Museum in New York, instead of giving it, wanted to give Donald Trump a golden toilet.
The toilet given to Trump as a gift is made of 18 carat gold. It is known that the painting belonged to the collection of Justin K Thanhser, an important figure in the development of modern painting in Europe. There is also a ban on removing the painting from the museum except on special occasions.
The President and First Lady of the United States borrow various works of art to decorate the various rooms of the White House.
