The Dhaka Times Desk A person in India ordered an iPhone 8 from an online shop. But when he received the iPhone package of that order, he found that it contained laundry soap!
A software engineer saw this unexpected surprise by ordering iPhone 8 in an online shop. After opening the delivery package, instead of the iPhone, the package contains laundry soap.
An Indian news agency reported last Thursday that 26-year-old Tabrez Mahbub Nagrali ordered an iPhone 8 on Flipkart, one of India's leading e-commerce companies. The person also paid the full price of the phone on the site. But Flipkart sent him in a package of iPhone laundry soap!
Frustrated and fed up, Nagrali approached the Bikula police station in central Mumbai and filed a fraud case against Flipkart.
Nagrali told the media that he paid the full price of iPhone 8 of 55,000 rupees on the shopping portal. However, inside the iPhone box delivered to his home on January 22, Nagrali found a small amount of laundry soap.
Police officer Avinash Shingte told news agency PTI, 'Nagrali brought the complaint to us. A fraud case has been filed against Flipkart.'
A Flipkart spokesperson told news agency PTI that they are investigating the incident.
