In the country, after 39.9 years of age, men and women do not get married after 36.4 years. That's why most families in Saudi Arabia are marrying off girls right after secondary education. There are also instances where many men are rejected with marriage proposals due to age difference.
It is also known in the news that the number of unmarried young women in Saudi has become alarming in recent times. In 2005, the number of women past the normal age of marriage was 1.5 million. In 2015, that number jumped to 4 million. In other words, two-thirds of Saudi women over the age of 30 have not married in 10 years.
