'Wonder child talent' is Sohini Roy Chowdhury, an 8-year-old Bengali girl of Indian origin. Sohini has proved how quickly school-going children can calculate arithmetic numbers. An online organization called 'Mathletics' in London has organized a competition for those who can solve complex arithmetic puzzles quickly. They mainly teach maths online to primary school students in Britain.
In that competition of the 'World Hall of Fame', not only all the primary schools in Britain, but also the schools of many countries. The aim was to select the best numbered heads at an early age. The name of 8-year-old child Sohini is very high in that list of 100 people.
Father Mainak Roy Chowdhury is an accountant by profession. Moinak Roy has an MBA degree in Finance. Great-grandfather DN Roy also graduated from Scotland with a degree in locomotive engineering.
Sohini's father Mainak said, 'My daughter Sohini got this talent in our family line.'
Sohini was born in Delhi but currently studies at Nelson Primary School in Birmingham. Sohini participated in the competition earlier this year. He is the best signing in this competition. That is why he has come up in the list of 'wonder child talent'. Her parents are proud of Sohini.
