The Dhaka Times Desk If it really is the case that the boat never sinks, what better news could there be? A company called Safehaven Marine has made such a claim.
According to media reports, a company based in Ireland called Safehaven Marine claims that they have been able to create a boat that will never sink even in strong storms!
According to a report of Mail Online, the special boat named XSV-17 Thunder Child was originally built for the Irish Navy. The Irish Navy will use these boats to carry out rescue operations. This boat is capable of running at a speed of 62 kilometers per hour.
According to Safehaven Marine Company, Thunder Child is a boat that never succumbs to bad weather or rough seas. It uses such technology, due to which the boat will not sink under any circumstances. If it is ever overturned by a strong wind or wave, it will straighten up again in no time. The boat will have a total seating capacity of 10 people. There are two engines of 1000 horsepower for fast running.
Frank Kowalski, managing director of Safehaven Marine, told the media, "We built this boat with 3 things in mind. These are, extremely low center of gravity, light weight of the cabin and complete waterproofing. However, the boat must have plenty of air inside it while the boat is running. This wind will keep the boat from sinking in the water. The boat is expected to help the Navy in rescue operations in various hostile environments. Its makers say it can run at a speed of 62 km per hour.
