According to American media NBC and several media reports, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been accused of keeping his mother prisoner or hidden from public view for more than two years.

According to media reports, there is no trace of the mother of the Saudi crown prince and the wife of King Salman for more than two years. However, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has given various explanations for his mother's mysterious 'disappearance'. He said that his mother was out of the country for so long for treatment.

However, several US officials told NBC that they believe Yuvraj may have hidden his mother somewhere out of fear that she might interfere with Yuvraj's plans to seize power and influence King Salman. That is why he kept his mother away from the royal family.

It should be noted that 31-year-old Prince Muhammad bin Salman came into discussion when his cousin was removed from the post of Crown Prince in June last year. After that, he played the role of arresting rival businessmen and family members in the name of anti-corruption.
