2016 National Film Awards Announcement: National Film Award Recipients

The Dhaka Times Desk National Film Awards 2016 have been announced. Check out the names of the awardees in various categories this year.

Ministry of Information has announced the National Film Awards-2016. A notification has been published in this regard. This time a total of 32 names were announced in 26 categories.

Chanchal Chowdhury will get the best actor award for acting in the film Aynabaji. This time, Nusrat Imroz Tisha and Kusum Shikdar are getting the best actress award for their performance in the movie Asthal. On the other hand, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury was awarded as the best film director for the film Ayanabaji.

Ayanabaaji has won the most awards in 7 categories in total. Anonymous has been declared as the best film of 2016. The best singer is Wakil Ahmed and the best female singer is Meher Afroz Shaon.

Best Supporting Actor Ali Raj and Fazlur Rahman Babu and Best Supporting Actress Tanya Ahmed.

Best Music Director: Eamon Saha, (Where Will the Girl Go Now)

Best Choreographer: Habib, (Destiny).

Best Singer: Wakil Ahmed, (Darpan Bisarjan), Song- Amrit Megher Bari.

Best Female Singer: Meher Afroz Shaon, (Krishnapaksha), Song- If Mana Cry.

Best Lyricist: Ghazi Mazharul Anwar, (Where Will the Girl Go Now), Song- Vidhire and Vidhire.

Best Composer : Eamon Saha, Song- Vidhire and Vidhire.

Best Narrator: Tauqeer Ahmed, (Anonymous).

Best Dialogue Writer: Rubaiyat Hussain, (Under Construction).

Best Screenplay: Anam Biswas and Gausul Alam, (Mirror).

Best Art Director: Uttam Guha, (Sankhachil).

Best Cinematography: Rashed Zaman, (Ayanabaji).

Best Editor: Iqbal Ahsanul Kabir, (Ayanabaji).

Best Vocalist: Ripon Nath, (Ayanabaji).
