Ministry of Information has announced the National Film Awards-2016. A notification has been published in this regard. This time a total of 32 names were announced in 26 categories.

Chanchal Chowdhury will get the best actor award for acting in the film Aynabaji. This time, Nusrat Imroz Tisha and Kusum Shikdar are getting the best actress award for their performance in the movie Asthal. On the other hand, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury was awarded as the best film director for the film Ayanabaji.

Ayanabaaji has won the most awards in 7 categories in total. Anonymous has been declared as the best film of 2016. The best singer is Wakil Ahmed and the best female singer is Meher Afroz Shaon.

Best Supporting Actor Ali Raj and Fazlur Rahman Babu and Best Supporting Actress Tanya Ahmed.
