According to one information, Asia's largest Hakaluki Haor is one of the largest freshwater wetlands in Bangladesh. Bounded by Bhatera hills to the west and Patharia Madhav hills to the east, Hakaluki Haor is spread across 5 upazilas of Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts. The Hakaluki River consists of more than 238 small and large rivers and 10 small and large rivers. During monsoon it becomes about 20 thousand hectares area. Then it creates a wonderful beauty.
