Huawei's smart airport solutions in airport security

Huawei, one of the world's largest information technology service providers, has brought the 'Smart Airport ICT Solution' project to build a modern airport to provide better services to airport passengers. The company showcased this new technology for the first time at the recently concluded 'Passenger Terminal Expo-2018'.

The theme of the exhibition was 'Leading New ICT, The Road to Digital Aviation'. 7 thousand representatives and 225 exhibitors from different countries of the world participated in the exhibition.

At the exhibition, Yuan Jilin, President of the Transport Sector of Huawei Enterprise Business Group, said that 'the concept of smart airport is currently becoming a reality. The reason is that various airport authorities around the world are currently using new technologies. That is why flight services, passenger services and airport management systems are becoming digital and visible at airports.

It is reported that Huawei has been helping airports in different countries around the world to use ICT technology. Notable among these are – cloud systems, Internet of Things (IoT) and use of artificial intelligence. It is said that the sole aim of the organization is to ensure the safety of the airport, efficiently manage the airport, increase the service quality and ensure maximum safe and comfortable travel environment for the passengers.

It is reported that Huawei is working in partnership with other IT companies - Travel Sky, Terra Vision, Brilliant Technologies, Huadong Electronic Information and Technology and Crystone to provide 'Smart Airport ICT Solutions'. Mainly on the basis of efficiency, the airport management is working to improve the security system and increase the quality of passenger service. Meanwhile, Huawei is using OceanStore 9000 technology there for the next 5 years to increase the capacity of Hamad International Airport. It is mentioned that they are working to increase the quality of passenger services including airport security by taking various measures.
