In fact, how will the character of Humayun Ahmed's novel Misir Ali be on the big screen? Many people are curious about this matter. Present day popular actor Chanchal Chowdhury has played the role of Misir Ali in the film 'Devi' directed by Anam Biswas based on Humayun Ahmed's story. So it can be said that the wait of Humayun devotees is about to end.

Regarding 'Devi', Jaya told the media that 'Devi' will be released in the coming winter. I am going to debut as a producer for the first time through this film. Jaya is also acting as 'Ranu' in this film.
