The Dhaka Times Desk Bollywood actress Zia Khan has confessed to beating Suoruj Panchali Zia, who is accused of inciting suicide, according to Indian news sources.
Meanwhile, after arresting Panchali, the police recovered five letters written by Zia from her house. Although the contents of the letter are not yet known, the police said that like the suicide note, Zia expressed her grief in the rest of the letters as well. The letters have been sent to the Andheri Metropolitan Court for scrutiny. Copies of the letter have also been sent to Hastrakha Bishar.
According to the media, Panchali admitted to beating Suruj Zia during police interrogation. Along with this, Suraj also admitted to forcing Zia to have an abortion. At the moment, the police are waiting for the postmortem report and forensic report of Zia.
Mother Zarina Wahab was with Suruj during his interrogation in the court on this day. Zarina said to the media, 'Whatever Zia's mother says, the truth should come out. I will say one thing. I am also a mother of a girl. I understand Jia's mother's pain. But I know my son too. I know what he can do. My son could never do what I hear about him.'
