Apart from sending money through this feature, WhatsApp users can also borrow money from friends. WhatsApp has launched this service experimentally in India.
Previously it was only possible to send money (pay-money) using the Facebook-owned app. From now on besides sending money request to receive money (which is called request money) can be done through this app.
The service has only been available in India since last year when WhatsApp launched the money sending feature. WhatsApp uses QR code or Unified Payment Interface (UPI) to transfer money. This company ensures maximum security in money transactions through the money feature.
On the other hand, the company has not yet announced anything about when this facility of WhatsApp money transactions will be launched in other countries outside India.
It is believed that after the experimental success, this company will launch the feature in other countries of the world including Bangladesh.
