The Dhaka Times Desk SSC and equivalent exam results will be released today (Sunday). The results will be available on the websites of the education boards from 2 pm.
Candidates will be able to know the results on the website of the education boards and also by sending SMS (short message) from any mobile number.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the summary of SSC results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban at 10 am. Then he will announce the detailed results of the exam in a press conference at the secretariat at 1 pm. After that the result will be known through mobile SMS.
How to Get Exam Result in SMS
From any mobile phone operator, write SSC/DAKHIL with a space, write the first 3 letters of the board name with a space, then write the roll number and again write 2018 with a space and send an SMS to 16222 to know the result.
Candidates can also check the results from the Education Boards website http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.
On the other hand, the educational institutions can download the exam results by visiting www.educationboardresults.gov.bd website. It has been informed that no hard copy of the result will be supplied to the educational institution from the board.
How to recheck results
Re-verification of SSC and equivalent exam results can be requested from mobile phone operator Teletalk tomorrow i.e. from 7th May to 13th May. To apply for re-verification of the result, write RSC with a space, then write the first three letters of the board name, write the roll number with a space, then write the subject code with a space and send it to 16222.
A PIN number (Personal Identification Number) will be given in the return SMS stating how much money will be deducted for the fee. If you agree to the application, write RSC, then write YES with a space, write the pin number with a space, write a mobile number for communication and send an SMS to 16222. A charge of 125 taka per subject and per paper can be deducted. So these works should be done only after keeping that amount of money.
On the other hand, for those subjects which have two papers (i.e. first and second papers), a total fee of Tk. Multiple subjects can also be applied for in the same SMS, in this case the subject code should be written with 'comma' alternately.
It is to be noted that the theoretical examination of SSC and equivalent examination was held from February 1 to February 25 and practical examination from February 26 to March 4. This year, 20 lakh 31 thousand 899 students participated in the SSC and equivalent examination to be held from February 1 under 10 education boards. Among them, students are 10 lakh 23 thousand 212 people. Students are 10 lakh 8 thousand 687 people. 2 lakh 45 thousand 286 candidates have increased this year compared to 2017.
