According to Indian media sources, Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (Writ) was conducted recently. In that exam, a candidate was caught by the police for faking using Bluetooth inside the sandal. Then the rest of the examinees from Bikaner and Sikar got caught up in the police net.
About the incident, a police officer named Ratanlal Bhargava said, 'Those examinees came to the examination hall with phones and bluetooth devices in the soles of the sandals. He also had an instrument in his ear. People outside the exam hall were helping him.'
The police said that these 'counterfeit sandals' are very cleverly made. The police came to know that these sandals were sold to the examinees for around Rs 2 lakh.
But the question has arisen that during the examination, how did this counterfeiting cycle come to the fore? In this regard, Ajmer police officer Jagadishchandra Sharma told the media, 'We arrested a person who had bluetooth inside the sandal at the beginning of the test. Through him, we can know that the person is also in contact with all those who are copying in this way. Then the matter was informed to all the district police. Then a ban was issued on entering the examination center wearing shoes, sandals.'
It is to be noted that 'Writ' examination is required to teach in government schools in Rajasthan. About 1.6 lakh candidates sat for the exam this year for 31 thousand posts.
