32-year-old Sohail is married. His in-laws' home is in Chilakara village of Chandipasha union in Pakundia upazila of the district. His wife's name is Rachel. However, nothing is known about his wife Rahela in detail yet. However, during the stay at the in-laws' house, the bank started planning the robbery only after confirming the transaction of a large amount of money in that branch of the bank through various known means. Sohail worked as a construction worker in the Middle East, which gave him the courage to do so.
As part of the plan, Sohail rents Mina Akhter's house adjacent to the bank by various tricks. From then on, he started dealing with various people in various guises. He used to rush to the bank unnecessarily for various needs. This is how he met Yasmin Sultana, a small loan worker of a private organization called 'Swanirbhar Bangladesh', who is a regular transaction of the bank, about two years ago. On one occasion, Sohel lured Yasmin, a resident of Hossainpur area of the district, into a love trap on a mobile phone. It was through him that he got acquainted with some other officers and employees of the bank. An officer of the father's bank developed a friendship with them in the implementation of the plan. Because of this, the bank's MLSS Abubakar knew about the alleged love relationship of Yasmin Sultana with Sohail. On the other hand, a college student named Sabina Akhter met Sohail in front of the bank about one and a half years ago. Sohail develops a love relationship with her too.
Quoting Yasmin Sultana and Sabina Akhtar, a source related to the investigation said that on January 21, Sohail told them, 'I will be busy with an urgent work on the 24th and 25th. My mobile will be switched off for these two days, keep your mobiles switched off too.'
The media reported that this love affair is the biggest clue in identifying and arresting Sohail. Sohail's several mobile numbers and some other important information are available from the alleged two lovers. Based on that information and mobile phone sources, Sohel, the person discussed in the tunnel mystery, was found. It was that love that finally showed up for him.
