With the help of these buses, the students of different schools-college-universities of the country will get an idea of how to expand their business or project with the help of technology.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the Google Bus project on Wednesday morning. At the time, he said, this is our first program with Google. This project is of 1 year duration and if its successful implementation we are interested to do more work with Google in future.
Meanwhile, James McClure, Country Manager of Emerging Markets for Asia and Pacific region of Google was present. He said that Google buses with modern technology will go to 500 colleges and universities of the country. Each of these buses will have a trainer whose job will be to give the students an idea about the different sectors of Google and give them an opportunity to experience working in those sectors.
The main goal of Google Bus is to spread technology education among the students of educational institutions of the country. These Google buses will work to help the students of the country learn how to create and manage businesses and projects with their own efforts using Internet skills.
500 colleges and universities of the country are under this scheme but in some regions these colleges and universities have not been disclosed yet. It will be known very soon that Google Bus will run in some regions of the country to convey the excellence of technology to the students.
