Researchers have discovered a prehistoric forest under the sea. Two curious divers discover this prehistoric forest under the North Sea. It is said that this forest of about 10,000 years ago extended from today's England to Germany. They sink due to natural changes. These are oak, beech, pine forests. Seasearch, a hobbyist diving organization, is researching the undersea environment.
Don Watson and Rob Spray, two members of this 'Sea Search' organization, found this sunken prehistoric forest. Watson dived only 300 meters from the coastline after swimming for fifteen minutes. And there he saw this forest.
Watson said that something like a huge black wave suddenly stopped in front of him under the water. At first he thought it must be a shipwreck. In no time he broke his mistake. A little further, he saw numerous tree trunks in front of him. In the past, large areas of forest were cleared in front of the glacier. Later at some point sea water entered the area. Under the pressure of the glacier, the tree row completely sinks into the sea.
Media reports also say that archaeologists have recovered large numbers of remains of mammoths and dinosaurs from seas in the region in the past. Now the discovery of this forest by divers is thought to have brought about a harmony in the whole matter.
