The Dhaka Times Desk Meher Afroz Shaon will produce the film based on Humayun Ahmed's novel 'Nakshatra Raat'. Mahiya Mahi is the heroine of that film.
Bandhan Kumar Saha, the champion of the 'Fair and Lovely Men Channel I Hero, Powered by Bangladesh Army' competition will be seen as the hero in this movie.
The grand finale of the 'Fair and Lovely Men Channel I Hero, Powered by Bangladesh Army' competition was held in a grand event at the Bashundhara International Convention City in the capital on Saturday. Bandhan is getting a chance to work in this movie as a prize of the competition.
Bandhan feels extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work on the legendary writer's story. He said, 'I am incredibly happy. I would also like to say that I will try to maintain the trust that those associated with the film have placed on me.'
Out of 500 young people, the best 5 contestants are selected in the final round. Bandhan Kumar Saha left everyone behind and became a 'hero'. He also received a brand new Mitsubishi car and Tk 1 lakh as prize. The film will be presented by Fair and Lovely and presented by Impress Telefilm Limited.
It is to be noted that actress Mahia Mahi acted in the film 'Krishna Paksha' directed by Meher Afroz Shaon based on Humayun Ahmed's novel. Bandhan will make his big screen debut opposite him in the movie 'Nakshatra Raat'.
