These seven mosques have 4 minarets and 7 domes. That is why it is called seven mosques. This mosque is one of the monuments of the Mughal period.
During the reign of Mughal Subedar Shaista Khan, his son Umid Khan built this mosque in 1680 AD. This mosque is similar to Khawaja Ambar Mosque and Lalbagh Durg Mosque.
