One of the new smartphones has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. The other has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.

The Redmi 5A smartphone is made of metal body. This is the updated version from Redmi 4A. Despite having a metal body, this smartphone is quite light. However, this smartphone does not have a fingerprint sensor.

This smartphone has a 5 inch HD 720 pixels resolution display. Inside the phone is also a quad-core 1.2 GHz 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset. The smartphone has a 3000 mAh battery for backup.

The new smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front side of the smartphone.

MIUI 9 based Android operating system has been used in the smartphone as an operating system. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi.

The 2GB RAM version is priced at Rs 5,999 in Indian currency. The 3 GB RAM smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999. Nothing has been reported about the price of this smartphone in Bangladesh.
