When Ramadan comes, the businessmen of old Dhaka's Chawkbazar area sit and arrange the bahari iftari stalls. There are different types of Bahari Iftar. From the other side of the capital, Dhaka, people go to Chawkbazar to buy these Bahari Iftar items.
In this month of fasting, people organize iftar time with whatever they can afford. Everyone prepares different types of Iftar at home. Once again, everyone flocked to buy Iftar of old Dhaka. This is how the 30 days of holy Ramadan will pass. But one good aspect of this Ramadan is that the camaraderie and brotherhood remain intact. Which was not lacking among Bengalis before, not yet.
