According to media reports, this 498 km railway bridge is being constructed across Bilaspur-Manali-Le.

It is known that this bridge in India will surpass the world's highest Qinghai-Tibet railway bridge. This project is being made by spending 2 trillion or 2 lakh crore rupees.

It is known that Indian Railways is building this bridge. A total of 4 strategic railway bridges are being constructed of which this will be one. Misamari-Tenga-Tawang, Bame-Silapathar of North Lakhimpur, Pasighat-Teju-Parashuram Kund-Rupai are also being built. This bridge is mainly being built to send army soldiers and weapons to the border quickly.

According to a media report, the Center approved this mega rail project in December 2015. In all, the total length will be 1350 km. This railway line will be extended very close to Doklam.

The country's government officials told the media that building this railway bridge is quite challenging. Geographical location is considered difficult to bridge. However, the defense ministry of the country will bear the cost of building this bridge.

Where the station will be, where the loop will be is currently being looked into. The location of corridors and tunnels will then be determined. Everything is being checked through drone survey. According to media reports, it will take 5 years to complete this bridge.
