The Dhaka Times Desk Shakib Khan starrer 'Nolock' has got complicated. A few months ago, the 'Nolak' film Maharat was held with much fanfare. The director of the movie, Rashed Raha, has accused the movie of 'plagiarism'!
It is known during the Maharat ceremony of the film 'Nolock' - Shakib Khan has taken a record honorarium (it is heard to take 60 lakh rupees) for the film. After only a few days, many complications started with that 'nolock'. The film's director, Rashed Raha, has accused the film of 'plagiarism'. He made this complaint against the producer himself.
Recently, Rashed Raha filed a written complaint against director Iftekhar Chowdhury in Bangladesh Film Directors Association. In the same incident, he filed a complaint against the producer Shakib Irteza Chowdhury Sonnet in the Bangladesh Producer-Distributor Association.
In this regard, Rashed Raha said that 85 percent of the shooting of the movie 'Nolock' has been completed. However, the film was 'hijacked' midway.
Rashed Raha complained to the Bangladesh Film Directors Association and Bangladesh Producers-Distributors Association that the film was stolen and requested action. He said that on 23/11/2017 he registered with the Film Directors Association to direct a film called Nolock.
Now after raising the issue in the board of directors, it remains to be seen what action the board will take. However, the movie is likely to be released on Eid. The producer will suffer the most if it misses the Eid schedule due to these complications.
